Tournaments

On 22^nd October, Saturday, was held the annual team competition of St. Sofia Golf Club & SPA - Bulgaria vs. Rest of the World tournament.
At the renovated golf course in Ravno pole for the 5^th time two talented teams competed for the win – Bulgaria with Stefan Krachev as captain and Rest of the World which captain was Mike Hennessy.

The competition was played over 27 holes and started with Foursomes and Better Ball, where the Rest of the World team won with 5 to 2 points and respectively 4, 5 and 2, 5 points. In the second part of the tournament the golfers had to prove their skills at the Singles matches, where Bulgaria won the praiseworthy score of 8 to 6.

However, the undisputable champion was the Rest of the World team with a final score of 15, 5 to 12, 5 points for Bulgaria. The captain of the team Mike Hennessy with proud raised the trophy while all the winners received medals and signed their name into the club’s history.
